EKG Cable Science Knowledge

The use of each lead of the ECG lead wire

ECG AND LEAD WIRES ARE DIVIDED INTO FIVE COLORS: RED, YELLOW, GREEN, BLACK, AND WHITE, AND WHITE IS DIVIDED INTO C  1. C 2. C 3. C 4. C 5 C6 HAS A TOTAL OF 10 WIRES.

RED IS CONNECTED TO THE RIGHT UPPER LIMB, YELLOW IS CONNECTED TO THE LEFT UPPER LIMB, GREEN IS CONNECTED TO THE LEFT LOWER LIMB, BLACK IS CONNECTED TO THE RIGHT LOWER LIMB, AND EACH LEAD OF THE WHITE LEAD LINE IS CONNECTED TO THE CORRESPONDING LEAD IN THE CHEST. THE SPECIFIC PLACEMENT IS AS FOLLOWS:

First

Limb lead: Limb lead Ⅰ The right upper limb is connected to the negative pole, and the left upper limb is connected to the positive pole. Limb lead II is connected to the negative pole in the right upper limb and the positive pole in the left lower limb.

Second

Limb lead III is connected to the negative pole in the left upper limb and the positive pole in the left lower limb. The pressurized unipolar limb lead aVR is connected to the positive pole in the right upper limb, and the negative pole is connected to the left upper limb and the left lower limb.

Third

The pressurized unipolar limb lead aVL, the left upper limb is connected to the positive pole, and the right upper limb and the left lower limb are connected to the negative pole. The pressurized unipolar limb lead aVF, the left lower limb is connected to the positive pole, and the left upper limb and the right upper limb are connected to the negative pole.

Fourth

  • Chest leads: V1 is placed in the 4th space on the right sternal border;

  • V2 is in the 4th intercostal space on the left border of the sternum, opposite to V1;

  • V3 is at the midpoint of the connecting line between V2 and V4;

  • V4 is on the left The fifth intercostal midclavicular line is under the nipple;

  • V5 is the left anterior axillary line at the same level as V4;

  • V6 is the left midaxillary line at the same level as V4 and V5;

  • V7 is at the left posterior axillary line, at the same level as V4 and V5 Horizontal plane;

  • V8 is on the left subscapular angle, the same horizontal plane as V4, V5, V6, and V7;

  • V9 is on the same horizontal plane as V4, V5, and V6 next to the left clavicle;

  • V3R, V4R, V5R are on the right side of the corresponding parts of V3, V4, and V5.

  • Side chest, one on the left and one on the right.
